PROFILE : Automatic B.O.D. Incubator fulfils accurately the temperature demand for incubation of Bio-chemical Oxygen Demand. Its wide range of application includes storage of thermosensitive materials like vaccines, typing sera, cultivation of bacteria. storage of dairy products, shell life tests, tissue culture work, enzyme testing, Incubation serum testing and various other biological experiments and processes demanding a constant and uniform temperature range above and below ambient.

CONSTRUCTION : The cabinet is double walled with the interior made of 304 Quality Stainless Steel and the exterior of mild steel finished in non-corrosive paint. The walls are insulated with a thick layer of glass wool on all sides including the door frame. A full length inner Plexi Glass door with a latch permits viewing of the chamber without disturbing the test conditions inside the chamber. The outer insulated metal door is fitted with a magnetic gasket and lock. A blower mounted on the top of the chamber with motor located outside, ensures uniformity of the temperature. The entire Unit is mounted on Castor Wheels for easy mobility.

CONTROL: All controls and indicators are conveniently located on a panel at the top and it is not necessary to open the chamber for adjustments. The panel consists of Voltmeter, Automatic Digital Temperature Indicator Cum Controller Microprocessor based temperature indicator Cum Controller, and Indicating Lamps for all switches and a safety fuse device.

COOLING & HEATING: A hermetically sealed compressor, coupled with an evaporation coil and fan cooled condenser, assembled in an easily serviceable tray at the bottom provides the cooling for below ambient temperatures. Referigeration Coil is covered by an inner wall. The heating is provided through long lasting sealed heaters for temperatures above ambient, conveniently placed inside the working chamber completely shielded for protection against sample spills.

BACTERIOLOGICAL INCUBATORS: These Incubators are the NON-REFERIGERATED VERSIONS OF THE B.O.D.Incubators. They are designed to operate in the temperature range of Ambient plus 5°C to 60°C maintaining an accuracy of +0.5°C. The Plexi-Glass Interior is substituted with a glass door and the Digital Temperature Indicator cum Controller is substituted with an EGO Thermostat in the Economy Models. (as shown above)

MAINS SUPPLY: 220/230 VOLTS. SINGLE PHASE, AC 50 Hz

HIGH PRESSURE STEAM STERILIZER, VERTICAL/HORIZONTAL MODELS: These are high pressure water steam electrically heated Sterilizer for Surgical Instruments, dressing materials, linen, rubber, plastic materials, injection liquids etc. by means of Steam under pressure.

CONSTRUCTION: These are pressure type steam jacketed double/triple chamber sterilizers made from Stainless Steel. Inner Chamber is made from 304 quality 10 swg. S.S.Sheet, steam jacket is made of 14swg. S.S.Sheet and the outer cover in made of 24swg.S.S.Sheet. The lid and ring are also made of suitably thick S.S.Sheet. All the joints are Argon Arc welded. The lid is closed by wing nuts/Radial Arm arrangement. A jointless Neoprene Gasket prevents any leakage. The complete structure is mounted on strong tubular frame. The outer chamber of the vertical Sterilizer is however made of Mild steel.

BOILER & CHAMBER (FOR HORIZONTAL MODELS): The Boiler, made of corrosion resistant 18/8 quality S.S.Sheet, suitable to the size of the sterilizer, is fixed below the working chamber placed on the tubular frame, with suitable immersion heaters and a low water protection device. A perforated S.S. Tray is provided. The lid is made of Gun Metal, covered with S.S.Lining. An automatic self locking Device is provided, When steam is created within.

PRESSURE/TEMPERATURE/INSULATION: A working pressure of 15 – 20 Ibs psi, (adjustable) can be created, hydraulically tested up to 2.5 times of the working pressure. Neoprene Gasket prevents the loss of pressure. The Jacket is insulated with glass wool to minimize the temperature loss (maximum temperature 126 C approximately).

SAFETY FEATURES: At the top of the Horizontal Sterilizer, multiport operating valve, Pressure, Compound Gauge and Safety valves (spring loaded) are fixed. The Sterilizer is provided with self sterilizing vacuum Drier/Breaker, Dial Thermometer, Plug Screen, Steam Trap, Non Return Valve, Water Level Indicator and Automatic Low Water Cut-off Device. The Vertical Sterilizer is provided with Double Device-Pipe safety valve, wet safety valve, Steam release cock, a pressure gauge and Water level indicator.

POWER & CONTROLS: The Sterilizers are electrically operated on 440 volts A.C. supply, three phase. A control box on the side, houses the `MAIN’, `LOAD’ and `LOAD WATER’ indicating lamps with their toggle Switches, a pressure control knob and CUTTLER HAMMER MAGNETIC CONTACTOR. Supplied with suitable length of wire in Plastic Moulded flexible casing and Instruction Manual. The Vertical Sterilizer operates on 220/440 volts A.C. supply.

AUTOCLAVE: VERTICAL/HORIZONTAL: It is Double Walled in construction, inner chamber being made of 18 swg. 304quality S.Steel and outer being made of M.S.Sheet, hammertone spray painted. The Lid is made of S.S.Plate with paddle lifting arrangement. The complete structure is mounted on iron stand. Heating is done by immersion type heaters operated on 220 volts A.C. Pressure and temperature are same as Sterilizers, as indicated above. Provided with all the necessary Safety features like Adjustable safety valve, Pressure Gauge, Steam Release cock and drain cock for cleaning the working chamber. Supplied with a basket, 2.5 mtr. of wire and Instruction Manual.

These Ovens are double/triple walled in construction. The inner chamber is made of heavy gauge Aluminium/Stainless Steel sheet. These are designed for Laboratory work and ideal for preheating, drying, sterilizing, baking and general applications.

CONSTRUCTION: All Gravity Models are double walled in construction and the Mechanical Models are triple walled in construction, with an Aluminium / 304 S.S Interior. The Exterior is made of heavy gauge welded mild steel sheets coated with corrosion resistant paint. 3″ Fibre Glass wool Insulation is provided between the walls of the chamber and the door to prevent heat loss during operation.

DOOR: A convenient side swing Double walled insulated door hung on heavy hinges and closed shut by roller bolt catches finished in bright chromium plating provides good temperature uniformity. Adjustable vents for air intake and exhaust allows the air to enter and leave the Oven Chamber.

HEATER: `A’ grade Heating Elements of suitable temperature range supported on Refractory bases are fixed on hard asbestos sheet and are conveniently placed inside the bottom of the working chamber. In the Mechanical Convection Ovens, however, the heaters are placed on 3 sides of the working chamber. These Heaters are completely shielded for protection against sample spills.

BLOWER: A suitable capacity electrically operated maintenance free Blower is provided, fixed on the right side in the chamber of all Mechanical Convection Ovens for maintaining a steady horizontal Airflow for Re-circulation.

CONTROLS: All Models are available with a choice of mechanical or electronic control i.e. 3 Heat Rotary Switch with an EGO Thermostat or Digital Temperature Indicator Cum Controller, Microprocessor based temperature indicator Cum Controller, On & OFF Mains Blower Switches and Indicating Pilot Lamps. The Equipments are provided with 2.5 meters long power cord with a three-prong plug for mains.

Memmert Type Ovens are the same as Gravity Convection Types except that these are triple walled in construction and have an inbuilt `L’ shaped thermometer.

CONSTRUCTION: All Baths are single/double walled in construction. In case of double walled Baths, the outer wall is made of Mild Steel Sheet and the Inner wall is made of suitably thick Stainless Steel Sheet of 304 quality. The Baths are painted in an attractive stove enamel spray paint. (SS exteriors are also provided as per requirements.)

INSULATION: Insulation is provided in all the double walled Baths to prevent any undesired loss of temperature inside the Baths. 2″ thick glasswool insulation is provided in case of High Temperature Baths and a 3″ thick glasswool insulation, in combination with Low Temperature protection Kenee Foam, is provided in all Low Temperature Baths.

HEATING & COOLING: Heating is provided through long lasting sealed heaters supported on refractory bases/immersion type heater fixed at the bottom of the working chambers. A hermetically sealed compressor, coupled with an evaporation coil and fan cooled condensor, assembled in an easily serviceable tray at the bottom provides the cooling for below ambient temperatures.

TEMPERATURES: The temperature ranges from above ambient to 100°C in all heated baths but extends to 250°C incase of Oil Baths. In the Low Temperature Baths, the temperature ranges from ambient to -40°C. Accuracy is as per table attached.

SAFETY: Water level arrangement is provided in most of the Baths to ensure the safety of the Heating/Cooling devices. Power Supply is automatically cut-off if the water level falls below the required level.

CONTROLS: EGO Thermostats, Digital Indicator Cum Controller, Microprocessor based temperature indicator Cum Controller, 3 Heat Rotary Switch, Temperature Regulators, Indicating lamps etc. as per the requisites of the Bath are provided.

POWER: All Baths are operated on 220 volts single phase AC supply.
